OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-wf0000 (755F5AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, recently bought Omen 16, wf0120tx(i5-13500hx, 16gb ram, 512 gb internal, 4050)

My question is:
1.How can I check whether it has 2nd slot for ssd and what gen is the 2nd slot?

2.If there is 2nd slot(gen 3 or 4), is it okay if I am considering Samsung 980 pro 2tb( I planned to use it on 1st slot and the old 1 onto the 2nd slot)? Or should I go for 1tb?

3.Is it normal if i play game, i feel uncomfortable to look at the screen?

Hi:

I can only answer your first two questions...yes, the notebook has support for 2 M.2 NVMe SSD's.

You can install any capacity NVMe SSD you want as long as it is single sided.

Since the primary slot is PCIe Gen 4.0 and your notebook has an Intel 13th Gen core processor, I would assume the secondary slot is also PCIe Gen 4.0.

There were some older HP notebooks where the primary slot was 4.0 and the secondary slot was 3.0 but that was usually mentioned in the service manual.

See chapter 5 of the service manual:
