I recently installed a PciE 4.0 nvme SSD, on the free slot and it gets half the total speed, I wanna know if maybe the second slot SSD is PciE 3.0 and the first slort PciE 4.0 maybe?

Yes, that is very possible.

The service manual does not indicate the PCIe slot generations and it lists PCIe Gen 3.0 SSD's were offered in the model series.

The main slot gives speeds to 4700, so I assume the first one is 4.0, can I change the new SSD to the slot 1?

í just changed the new SSD to slot 1 and yes, slot one is PciE 4.0, now it went from 3500mbs to 5200 , so Slot 1 is PciE 4.0 and Slot 2 is PciE 3.0 👍

For anyone who reads this thread and wanna upgrade the SSD the booting time and OS doesn't benefit much from PciE 4.0 booting time is the same a microseconds faster, so installing a new SSD in slot 1 for storage or gaming is really worth it to have higher speeds. PDT always buy TLC, QLC only if its 4TB or more, but for gaming TLC is the best option.
