Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook:
HP 340 G3/G4 NotebookHP 346 G3/G4 NotebookHP 348 G3/G4 Notebook Maintenance and Service Guide
Your notebook only supports SATA SSD's.
If your notebook came with a 2.5" mechanical hard drive, you can replace it with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
From the way I read the manual, only the notebooks that came with M.2 SATA SSDs from the factory have a M.2 slot to install a M.2 SATA SSD,
You are going to find that SSDs and memory prices have skyrocketed due to the increased AI demand for chips.
This would be the 2.5" drive model series I recommend. They come in various storage capacities.
This is the 500 GB model for example.

This usually happens when the protective tape wasn’t fully removed or air is trapped in the cartridge.
Try this:
Remove the cartridge again and double-check all orange/plastic seals are gone
Run Printhead Cleaning / Align Printer from HP Smart (2–3 times)
Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page
If it’s an HP Instant Ink cartridge, make sure the printer is online and activated
If it still prints blank, the cartridge is likely defective and should be replaced by HP.
