HI HUffer.

My product code is 2rh32la  its a hp 15-bs0xx and im a little lost with the topic also.

Acording to the user manual(http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257.pdf). the laptop has a possible configuration of SSD+HDD and the possibility to use M.2 SSD.

According with the diagram in page 17 m2.3.PNGthe location of the M.2 connector is next to the HDD bay.

 m24..PNGm2.5.PNG

im aware my laptop has the port since i upgrade the ram and find the ports in the place mencioned above.

M.2 module bay and screwM.2 module bay and screw

But then when reading later in the user manual (page 56), never mention the configuration SSD+HDD ever again, and when the topics comes thru the manual pretty much says that for the SDD option you have to remove the HDD.

in no place mention if the M.2 module has to be M-key, B-key or both.

so is it or istn SDD+HDD  hardware is there but im afraid i can only use 1 option HDD or SDD or m.2.

once again, what are the not propietary option available in the market? can i use crucial.com m.2 opcion?

my go to module will be  Crucial MX500 500gb M.2 Type (http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/CT500MX500SSD4) or if possible the 1tb version, but no really sure if posible to do it or if compatible, since information is weak about my laptop.

hope you can help me.

thanks for your time, really apreciate it .

greeting from Nicaragua

@sjmc13,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I checked the specifications of your computer and see that Dual storage configuration (Intel Core processors only) is possible on your computer in the below format.

● 256 GB Value SSD + 1 TB HDD

● 128 GB Value SSD + 1 TB HDD

Please refer to page 3 on the service guide you have shared.

NOTE: Dual storage configuration is supported only on the Intel core processors.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
