Hello, I want to know before I buy the HP Envy 13 if the SSD storage is upgradeable?

And one more question is if the RAM is upgradeable? Its have only 8GB of RAM and i dont know if in 3-4 years it will be enough?

Thanks for answers

Yes and no. The only storage it can have is a single 2280 form factor M.2 disk. The model you reference comes with a 512 gig PCIe/NVME M.2 SSD. This is the fastest type of storage on the market. Larger modules could be substituted and HP offers sister models with a 1 TB version of the disk but there is nothing any better or faster one can install. Memory is another story. It is not upgradeable. In your case it is 8 gigs LPDDR3-2133 which means it is soldered to the motherboard.

I own a very similar laptop...the Spectre x360 13-v series with an i7 processor, soldered on 8 gig memory and a 512 gig NVME M.2. It is lighning fast and razor thin. 8 gigs of RAM has not been a limitation.
