Thanks!

Your HP product is an HP Pavilion 15-cs0048ur.

There should be an M.2 slot. You wil need to open the base enclosure and verify it as present before purchasing an NVMe M.2 SSD. Remove and replace videos are at the link below this line. (select base enclosure and view the video)

Parts locator for your notebook series. Click on internal view. (The M.2 slot should be in the lower right hand corner).

Your notebook is the same code name as the notebook in the solved thread at the link below this line, so an NVMe M.2 SSD shold be what you need.https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Adding-SSD-to-HP-Pavilion-15-c...

The member used a  Samsung 970 EVO 500GB - NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD (MZ-V7E500BW)

Would you take a look at the bottm of your notebook in the tiny letters and locate the ProdID?

That is the same as the product number and is used by us to determine the hardware configuration of your specific notebook.

Otherwise, an answer to your question would be a guess about the following HP Pavilion 15 model series which includes yours.

15-cs0000 – 15-cs0999; 15-cs1000 – 15-cs1999; 15-cs2000 – 15-cs2999
15t-cs000; 15t-cs100; 15t-cs200

It helps us to provide accurate answers specific to  a particular question.
