Hi, I have a hp victus 15-fa0xxx laptop with 512 gb SSD I want to install a new SSD and upgrade does this laptop have extra slots for SSD m.2 if it does not have how can I upgrade storage? please help

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 Manuals | HP® Customer Support
According to chapter 1 of the manual there is only support for one M.2 NVMe SSD with no provisions or parts to add a 2.5" drive.
You can see the location of the single M.2 SSD in chapter 5 on page 33 of the service manual.
If you need more storage, you will need to replace the existing 512 GB NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.

Unfortunately, there isn't any.
You can't add a 2.5" drive, and you can't add a second NVMe SSD leaving you with only an external storage option, such as a USB portable hard drive or if your notebook has a SD card slot, a SD card to store files on.
