Welcome to our HP Community Forum!

 

You can install any 2.5" (7mm) capacity SATA SSD in your HP Notebook - 17-x173dx (1BQ18UA), your only limit would be your budget. Please note that if you need more than 4TB of onboard storage, you should consider working with a plug-in (USB) external drive.
