Hi,

It supports M2 SATA3 SSDs of your desired brand and capacity

Ok.

A small guide on how I would do it.

Prepare a bootable USB drive with Window 10 on it before replacing the drive. Download media creation tool and create the drive

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Now remove the old hard drive and insert the M2 SSD. There are many ones. The M2 Samsung 860 Evo is considered the best. But a Crucial MX500 or WD ... are all good

Ex:

https://www.amazon.com/Blue-NAND-500GB-SSD-WDS500G2B0B/dp/B073SBX6TY/ref=sr_1_15?dchild=1&keywords=m...

I do not know how much RAM your notebook has, but I would upgrade to at least 8GB if you only have 4GB.

Once you have removeed the old drive and inserted the SSD, insert the USB drive and start the PC. It should boot directly from the USB drive. (if not, turn on the PC and repeatedly press ESC until startup menu appears, then press F9 to enter boot menu)

Install Windows 10 by following the installation procedure.

Once installed go into settings and verify for updates. Let the PC completly update and Windows will find all the necessary drivers.

The SSD will give a great boost in the everyay performance of the PC.

Hope it helps,

David
