I have upgraded from sata m.2 to nvme m.2 SSD. I have cloned the drives using crucial supplied software. However when booting up it said updates would take an hour. However when done I just have a blank screen. I have managed to access the HP set up and it recognises the SSD. So do I need to amend the bios slightly or is there an easier fix?

Hi @idlebantam
cloning can fail, I recommend installing windows on the new NVME disk.

I understand, verify that the disk is not partitioned into multiple disks. I am giving this advice without knowing the model of the computer, I hope your model supports NVMe disks.
