HP Spectre x360 - 15-ch011dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just got my new hp spectre x360 15 for 2 months. Today I was working in the library with my laptop plugged in. At first I feel some electric shock when I rest my palm the metallic surface of my laptop (which has never happened before) but I didn't think too much. But soon, when I am typing with my computer, I suddenly feel a electric shock and saw a spark on the ↓key when I press on it. I was frightened and immediately disconnected the charging cable. The laptop have not turn itself off during the spark.  There is no smell of burns and no smoke has been seen

I am not so sure if the spark come from the metal surface of the laptop when I touch it or from the motherboard. After I returned home. I tried to use it again when plugged in and the electric shock never occurs again. I runned the hp hardware diagnostic software for a couple times and all tests are passed. The laptop seems to be working fine right now. There seems to be no visible problem other than the probably less bright backlit light on the button ↓compared to others (not so sure about that), but I am still concered that if the laptop has already been damaged.

Does the spark means some component in the motherboard has been fried? Or does the spark occures because of the static electric occured when I touch the metallic surface of the laptop which probabily has current on it. I am concerned that if this spark has caused any king of damage on my laptop, causing my laptop malfunction or die early someday.

Forgive my poor english. If any further information you think is important, please don't hesitate to ask me providing them.

I am really looking forward for your reply ! Thanks a lot for any assistance !
