Hi There,

I left my laptop to run through out the night, and this morning it was on the 'enter you password section', which I did. This logged me on just fine...pheww!

However, a message has appeared stating the following:

'OneDrive.exe - Application Error

The instruction at 0x00000000A69B02 referenced memory at 0x000000006B3D0391. The required data was not place into memory because of an I/O error status of 0xc000009c.

Click on OK to terminate the program'

Could you please confirm what that means.

Also after this happening, could you please advise on how I transfer everything on my laptop to a hard drive including all softwares.

Many thank,
Vivian

@Vivian18,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

This is a wonderful place to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips.

I reviewed your post and understand that the computer is not booting to Windows and stuck on scanning and repairing the drive.

I'll be glad to help you 🙂

I am glad to know that the issue is resolved and now you are able to boot to Windows. You wanted to know what that error means. I checked and see that the error you are getting is due to a third party application error and usually it gets resolved by restarting your computer.

You also wanted help in transferring your data to an external hard drive. I recommend you try taking an image of your hard drive as you want to transfer all the software as well. There are many third party software available to take an image of your hardware and you can use any software which suits your needs.

Hope that answers your question. Awaiting your reply!

If the solution provided helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.

Good day! Take care 🙂

Cheers!
