Hello,
I have an issue with my 2013 Ultraslim Docking station.
My laptop is an EliteBook 840 G3.
I have 2 DisplayPort connectors, to 2 displays that I run extended desktop on.
For 50% of the time, it works a treat.
But I have an issue where the displays both flicker to black randomly throughout the day.
Sometimes the displays lose the input signal altogether.
I have tried different monitors, different cables and another docking station of the same model.
I have tried using a combination of 1 x VGA and 1 x DisplayPort instead, but still I get the flickered issue.
The black flickered happens also if I have only 1 display connected through the dock, so it seems the issue is not related to having 2 displays connected.
The only thing I can do to prevent this is to bypass the dock altogether and have DisplayPort for 1 of the displays connected directly to my ElieBook 840 G3.
Any suggestions are helpful, it is frustrating having 2 displays but not able to use them together due to this annoyance!

When you update your FW make sure you leave your monitors attached to the dock.
I also suggest you download the latest BIOS and video driver for your 840 G3.
