I'm doing a repair for a friend. The screen is busted from the bottom right hand side and spider webbed out. It's a pretty good shatter. And the bottom right corner of the display is popped out. (Made it easy to remove the broken display) I reinstalled the new lcd display and went to click it in to place and noticed 2 screws are missing from the right hand hinge. Tried to tighten the one screw that was left and it was even touching anything... So I unscrewed one from the left side and saw the bushings that are inserted into the holes of the hinge...gently tried to remove it to maybe rig it so each side had some support.... But no luck... Then I spent 20 minutes searching the web for these bushing replacement and I can't find anything that will work.... How do I fix this part of the laptop which is a load bearing piece due to the screen swiveling as far as it does.......???? When I say bushing, I mean the little plastic and metal pieces that fit inside the hole to make it possible for the tiny screw to screw in.... I thought new hinges should come with them already inside.. nope....just open holes... Help????
