Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d1 (53F49AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

When I asked HP Support if I could install a second SSD in addition to the existing one for the Victus by HP Laptop 16-d1026nt (6G0L1EA), the final answer was:
"There is only one slot supported. The slot with the existing SSD can be removed and replaced with a 1TB SSD. The second slot cannot be used in this context."
But since I am not sure of the accuracy of this information, I wanted to ask here again. I'd be very grateful if anyone could provide an answer on this.

Thanks

Hi durmazsa.

This has been discussed roughly a year ago here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/SOLVED-Maximum-upgrade-options...

There are TWO (2) m.2 slots on these machines, and you can find other useful information there. HP Support is obviously talking about some other system.

Take care!
