I have a few months old HP 17-cn2050nd. I was searching for the service manual.
I found two maintanance and service guides for Model numbers 17-cn0xxx and 17-cn1xxx.
At first glance these models look similair to my new laptop but I gues I need the maintenance and service guide for model 17-cn2xxx?
Reason is that the screen is broken by accident. I would like to repair it myself. A technical manual would be welcome to begin with.

Unfortunately, HP has a policy of not updating the service manuals for a newer model in the model series generation.
No manual exists, nor will one be released for the 17-cn2xxx model series.
So, you have to resort to using the manual from an older model series.
The newer one of the two listed on the support page would be for the 17-cn1xxx model series.

I recommend that you enter your notebook's serial number in the search window at the link below and get the HP part number for the display panel from there.
The manual should work for taking the notebook apart.
