HP OMEN 15-Ax200 CTO Laptop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Finally I got my hands on my M.2 SSD( Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA M.2 Type 2280SS Internal SSD - CT1000MX500SSD4) but I'm not sure if I should clone my HDD to my SSD. I heard from a few friends that getting a new SSD/HDD is a good way to get rid of software decay that windows has, I'm not sure if this is true so if anyone could give me any pointers it would be appreciated. Also a few weeks ago I had reset my laptop, deleting most apps from my laptop so I really don't have much on it currently, so would it be better to just start a new from the SSD or is there a few problems/inconveniences that  may trouble a newbie too me ( I'm really confused on which decision I should choose).

I am a big fan of the clean install myself. But if you need to clone that will work. Macrium Reflect Free works very well.

If I were to do a clean install how would I re download windows again?

From the Microsoft Media Creation Tool site. As long as your laptop originally shipped with Windows 10 it can be reinstalled with no need for a Key Code or other credentials. It will just activate. Also true if you previously legally upgraded Windows 7 or 8 to Windows 10.
