I have an HP Pavillion computer that is plugged in 24 hours a day. When I turn it on the battery level shows a charge of 58% and says the laptop is plugged in. Shouldn't it show 100%?
Thanks
Darryl

Hi @darrylweiss
if the battery is in good condition it should read 100%, but if the battery is damaged or needs calibration it may indicate any % of charge,
Make a test, when turning on the device, press the F2 key several times, then select the battery and see the test result if it passes.
