HP Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been trying to play games on my 5 year old hp notebook and I noticed the games only run properly when the speed of my cpu reads 1.90GHz but most of the time it only reads 0.49 and the highest utilisation on task manager will be 26% and the games are so slow. I tried a tutorial where they told me to go on regedit and change the value of "start" in intelppm to 4, the speed went up but then the games were still acting as if the speed was still low so i changed it back. When I put my laptop to sleep overnight and come back in the morning, the speed is up again. I keep my laptop at 100% battery, I've tried changing power plan settings even the advanced ones it doesnt help. It just seems it changes speeds whenever it feels like it. I want it so that its at 1.90GHz all the time, please help, i dont want to pay for repairs.Capture.PNG
