I made a plain W11 installation flash drive so as you say I will get the menu of options which I select the USB flash drive with Win 11 on it then take the option it indicates being the new 512GB Drive to install Win 11 on.
Following your instruction when completed I can close down the laptop and all being well it will open up and start up.
I can as you say select the 64GB eMMC drive by right clicking and format that drive which when completed I can choose to select that to store limited items,
Thanks again Paul it gives me so much confidence receiving such advise from you. I will let you know how it goes tomorrow.
regards
Brian

Well getting into the laptop was fine and exchanging the 4MB chip was easy to remove and then fitted the 16GB DDR4 3200MHz Laptop Portable Memory l16F32N into its slot and clipped into place.,
Then the M2 location was obvious and fitted with an Integral INSSD512GM280 BEING A 512GB M2 SATA 111 6Gbs had to use one of the outer casing screws to push it down and fix into place (I can fit a replacement screw into the case at a later date when I get hold of one.
Re fitted parts together and ready to go so inserted the usb win 11 recovery drive and turned on the laptop pressing the escape key in which the menu came up to load from drive and to press key F11 but no option at anypoint to select the new M2 SATA MEMORY.
Windows then carried on loading after stopping/starting several times as the screen said it would eventually after selecting the various options it was back up and running.
Went into settings seleting System Storage and all it indicated was WINDOWS (C:) 57.5GB 31.9GB used 25.4GB free
Installed Apps 7.70GB/31.8GB used
Temporary Files 121MB/31.8 GB used.
This PC just showing WINDOWS (C:) 25.2 GB free OF 57.3GB
So not sure where I have gone wrong other than trying different method such as cloud method to clear p/c and reload but how do I find where 512gd Drive is?

I have never come across anyone having that issue before when installing a SATA SSD in that model series.
For example:

Are you sure the SSD is firmly seated in the slot?
Sometimes you think it is correctly/firmly installed and it isn't.
Someone else on another PC managed to install the SSD underneath the slot contacts.
When you had gotten to the point in the installation where Windows asked where do you want to install Windows, that area should have shown two drives.

Checked Device Manager and under Disk Drives it shows both I guess the 64GB as Kingston TA2964 and it does show the new SSD drive 512GB, so we know its there and working, its just that Windows has re booted back to the 64GB drive on the motherboard.. I think you mentioned that if i just transfer it over it will only take it over but leave the rest of the memory unusable?

You can clone it with Macrium reflect, but make sure that you set up Macrium to clone from the smaller drive to the larger one so that all of the space is used. I gave you that you tube video.
So, when you click on the 512 GB drive in 'This PC' does it show up as drive 'D' with windows installed?
In other words, is there a Windows folder on that drive, or is it completely empty?
If so, you can try cleaning the 64 GB disk so that the Windows boot manager automatically switches to the 512 GB drive to boot from, and I will give you the steps to do that.

Just Clicked on 512GB Properties which indicates "This device is working Properly"Under Voloumes ther is nothing listed. Under Driver it shows Driver provided = MicrosoftUnder Events it lists Device settings not migrated Then Devise Configured and the Device Started

This is getting more interesting by the minute...
I'm thinking since Windows was already installed on the eMMC drive and you installed a brand new drive and it does not show up in 'This PC.
I assume that only drive 'C' is showing up in 'This PC' that the disk needs to be initialized first since it is not the primary drive at the moment which is why Windows didn't see it when you want to install it.
To initialize the disk, follow the guidance at the link below using the disk management utility.

You want to format the drive in GPT.
After you get the drive to show up in 'This PC' you should be able to clean install W 11on it.
