Thanks for replying. I really appreciate the effort in resolving the issue. To help you better could you provide me with the product number of the PC? If you're not sure how to find that information, please click here for instructions: http://hp.care/2bygf7l (Please make sure you don't include the serial number or any personal details on public forums).
Eager to help you.
Thanks & Regards,

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.
They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.
Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.
Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum

It's an utter disgrace, because still nothing has changed. I bought a 15-bc235nd in april this year, and I have exactly the same problem. Even worse, it also seems to be limited to 64 GB max. 9 out of 10 times the card reader doesn't detect 128 GB cards. On the other hand, an unbranded 2 years old 4 dollar USB3 card reader has no problem whatsoever with the same cards, and reaches a speed of 85 MB/s. So 4 times the speed of the built-in Realtek mess.
