Over the time I had my laptop (three months now), I noticed that it was slow in response times when booting up, going to the desktop after the password was entered, and when the start/windows icon or button was pressed. Eventually one day when l booted it up, it said that "no Hard drive detected ".
When I tried booting up again the screen just said that "Smart Hard Disk Check has detected imminent failures ", and to get in contact with HP. My local HP shop where I bought the laptop said that I should contact HP's customer service via 1-800-711-2884
This number does not seem to be working for I've tried multiple times over the last three weeks. I sent an email to HP via the email given on my warranty sheet, got an automated reply with a case number. That was over a week ago and still no further contact.
The local HP store has said that they can't do anything until they are directed by HP head offices, so you see my difficulty. Can anyone help?

Andrejam I understand your concern and I will bring your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.
Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.
Please look for a private message requesting additional information.
Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" on my public post, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
