Some keys on the keyboard does not react anymore.  First I was able to get them to work by restarting he computer, but not anymore.  For now these keys are not working: <tab>, t, y,  å, 9 (on the numeric keyboard).   What to do?

@StaffanV

I reviewed your post and I understand that some of the keys are not working on the keyboard.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you uninstall the keyboard driver from the device manager and then restart the computer and check if it helps.

Here is how it is done.

  1. Type "Device Manager" into the search field to open the device manager console.
  2. Expand the node that represents the type of device that you want to uninstall, right-click the device entry, and click Uninstall.
  3. On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK to start the uninstall process.
  4. When the uninstall process is complete, remove the device.

NOTE: On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click the Delete the driver software for this device option to delete the driver package that was used for the device.

If you continue facing the issue, then run a test on the keyboard following the steps in the below article.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Hi.

Thank you for following up mail I got.   I thought I had replied.
No, I have done all of the suggested actions. It did not solve the problem. I still have to use an external keyboard.
These keys are not working anymore.  [F3], [tab], t, y, å, 9 (on numeric keyboard), [right arrow].
You can see a picture of my keyboard here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AtPsFjnjM7IjqhAPk4-qHUYjP9t1
Is there anything more I can do to solve the problem?

Did you run the test on the keyboard? If yes, what was the result?

Cheers!

Hi Fossette.

I've done the test. You can see it here https://youtu.be/XRxKSqEh01U  (video made from Camtasia screen recording).
At 3 min 35 sec  you can see the result numbers from the keyboard test.

Is this helpful for fixing my problem?
