I received a notification for installing a Critical Update pertaining to the

Intel Dynamic Tuning Driver new VERSION: 8.7.10802.26924

The driver was downloaded and installed using the HPIA version 5.1.11 program application  which had flagged it as being required. After I installed it the Error Code return was = 0 which meant it was successfully installed.

However, after checking the Device Driver Manager  under System Devices it was still not updated.

So I had to use a workaround and downlead the sp149502 SoftPAQ to the Desktop and extract files in it to a subfolder. Then I used the update driver in properties to see if it was updated when opened for inspection.

Yes it did update the driver...

But the Dynamic Tuning Processor Participants drivers were not and still retained the older driver.

So I assume that the HPIA program was looking at the driver update as unsuccessful because of the

Dynamic Tuning Participant drivers not being updated with the same version as the Tuning Manager was now using.

So, if you have a similar issue with installing sp149502.exe you had better ensure these other drivers are also updated too.
