Spectre x360 convertible laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The battery in my 5 yr old Spectre x360 -- a convertible laptop (ie has a flip over to tablet lid), will be in need of a new

battery soon.    Is the battery replacement for the x360 a reasonable DIY project ?   I'm reasonably handy with tools and have replaced many batteries in laptops where the battery is essentially external.  I have the service manual and read the instructions, and there seem to be a number of potentially tricky operations.  If this is not a DIY project can someone suggest a way to identify a qualified local shop other than HP factory repair.

Thanks

Neal
