I have updated everything but the overheating problem is still there.......I am sure it is about to burst into flames sometimes!
Has anyone managed to find out why this is happening and how to fix it?
I paid a lot of money for a good laptop and I think I won't bother next time as i think this one will not last too long but just long enough to be out of the warranty no doubt. A cheaper one will do the job for me just as well I am thinking now.

I am using HP Sepctre X360 and tried upgrading BIOS still this has not resolved heat problem
It is getting extreme hot on back side.
Though this is official HP support forum, there is no official response since original post
I will not recommend anyone this buy this product.
Regards
Harry

Hi - I'm having the same problem. Hot on the underside but the problem is intermitent and when it gets hot and the fan runs the battery drains quickly. I've sent this laptop back once and they reported no problem. Been on HP chat today and they want to take it back again - I declined as every time it goes back they take it back to factory settings. Clearly a X360 problem but they dont admit it!

That probably sounds too dramatic. But a possibility. So I am careful and hope you are too
My son has the second problem with his spectre 360

Hi Guys,
Few weeks back I received my replacement laptop and it seemed as if the problem was fixed via the BIOS updates.
Yesterday, my son told me that his latop was super hot while at school. The laptop battery drained faster than normal and then shut down. I will have to raise another service request with HP and see if they are going to send me a 2nd laptop.
It seems the HP support team doessn't have a solution for this problem.
It took them more than a month to have my new laptop replaced. I am really not happy with HP. This is probably going to be my first and last HP purchase.
