My battery was severely swollen so I replaced it and now the computer will not boot up. The LED power light only goes on if I leave the battery out for about 12 hours. I did get the computer to start one time and it worked fine for about 12 hours, but the battery didn't show any info and there was an error message when it started up. It seems like the computer doesn't know where to get power from? How can I get the computer to reboot, and how can I save the battery issue?
Thanks

Welcome to the HP support community.
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

Thanks for passing on my information. Do you know when I can expect to hear from someone? I need the laptop for my business and have a slight bit of urgency in getting the issue resolved. If it can't be repaired I need to decide on another HP Spectre or Mac Book Pro.
Thanks
