Spectre x360 13-ac033dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

 I have a Spectre x360 13-ac033dx with a 512 Gb PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD and Windows 10 Home. Can it be upgraded to a 1 Tb SSD? All Windows, driver, and system updates are current, including BIOS. I have seen reports that this is not possible with some other HP laptops with a similar drive, but can't find any discussion of this model.

@jcwood72 Welcome to HP Community!

Here's all you need to know about upgrading your SSD:

(As an upgrade/custom enthusiast I personally love the idea of upgrading the device as well, However, HP recommends that you go easy on it as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance and also, the upgradeable parts listed in HP articles are purely for your ease, though the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion)

For more details: click here to access the service and maintenance guide for your device.

I hope that answers your query,

Thank you. That is some good information I did not find elsewhere on the site. The price is quite a bit higher that I expected, though. I may look into Kingston as they have a couple 1 TB drives and even a 2 TB drive that seem to be a good match. They have a 30 day return policy so I can send back if it doesn't work, then will see about the HP parts.
