Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This isn't a question, mainly just a complaint. I got my laptop in October 2016 and according to my pc the battery had a cycle count of 93 (out of 300 or 1000, depends on the source you are reading from).. It also told me that it had 87% charge capacity left, yet wouldn't take a charge. I understand it isn't under warranty, but it's also pretty horrible for a battery to completely die like this. One day I was able to unplug and the laptop lasted 6-8 hours on a charge, the next day it wouldn't boot unless plugged in.

Battery Status: Replace (42)

@Mustang46L

I have gone through your Post and I understand your concerns

The Battery Test failed, its definitely a Hardware issue with the Battery and it needs to be replaced

Since this notebook uses an Internal Battery I suggest you contact HP Support for Service Options
