Product: HP Spectre x360 - 15-df1018ca

I'm having trouble finding a proper battery replacement for my Spectre x360 15 (15-df1018ca).  I bought a su06xl battery from Amazon, but once it was installed, the laptop could not recognize the battery and it died within a few hours. Now I can't turn it back on.

 

I've been scouring the internet to find a trustworthy replacement, but I'm a bit scared given the first one I ordered looks to be a dud.  Can anyone help? I'm located in Canada.  Thanks!

 

The replacement part is L29184-005.

I don't know third party products but why same part but from 2 different retailers one worked but the other does not.

I know.  That's the problem I'm running into. The first one I got didn't do anything for me.

 

Has anyone found a good working battery for this laptop recently?
