When I bought my laptop, I wanted one that would be able to clock up faster than normal 2.6 or the like.
My specs say:
- Intel® Core™ i7-7500U (2.7 GHz, up to 3.5 GHz, 4 MB cache, 2 cores) + NVIDIA® GeForce® 940MX (2GB GDDR5 dedicated)
How can I get my CPU up to this? I pretty familiar with computers and how they work. I’ve built my own gaming machine and I know a good BIOS when I see it, and the BIOS that comes with this Specter 360 is pretty darn archaic. The options are extremely minimal, and I see NO selectable option to play with the CPU or any similar overclocking options.
Can someone point me in the right direction here?
U really hope I don’t get a "your out of luck" kind of answer. I keep this should be totally achievable.

Hi,
The boost will be automatic and when necessary. You do not need to intervene. You can see the boost working if you open an app such as task manager where you can see the CPU speed continously boosting when necessary.
This will be the same in all notebooks with modern CPUs
Hope it helps,
David
