My product is under warranty. At night I put my laptop on charge but after 2 hours there was a burning smell coming out from the laptop then I removed the cable I found the c type point in the laptop got burnt and I contacted hp they responded me after 1 month , enginner came and inspected the whole laptop opening it bit by bit and didn't even put the laptop back perfectly and didn't even provided any update for 20 days. On 31st August I receive a mail stating I have to pay for the change of whole chipset inside the laptop. When I said my product is under warranty they said you don't have accidental damage protection.
I don't understand why don't hp states clearly what's is covered under warranty and what will cover under adp while customer makes a purchase. Under warranty I have been assured while buying such an expensive laptop that all hardware problems will be covered.now when I am facing a burning issue without any clarification and testing why this burnt happen they simply said I have to pay for the mother board inspite of product under warranty.
I want to know is there anyway apart from hp to resolve this issue. Bcoz hp is becoming cheaper day by day this is my 5th laptop of hp but I am facing a lot of issue with this spectre since I purchased this expensive machine.
Didn't expect such a disgusting response for such a premium product.
