HP Spectre x360 - 15-bl012dx

Purchased this laptop for school and just months after warranty expiring, the computer will no longer turn on or off, no lights will come on and it will not charge and no fans come on when the power button is pressed. Immediately after it shut off, it started smoking and smelled like fried plastic. Worried this will catch fire or burn down my house.  I purchased this laptop for $1500 and barely got any use out of it before it stopped working completely. Other customers have complained of fried motherboards, obviously a recall is needed. I will never buy another HP product if they refuse to fix my laptop. Curious to see what the Consumer Products Safety Commission has to say about the growing number of customers with broken, nearly new laptops.
I have no way of contacting HP support without paying for “outside of warranty support.” Terrible customer service! I want an agent to email me ASAP.
