OK, here are the admittedly lousy pics. Let me know if they don't do the trick and I'll spend a bit more time making better ones!
This is the whole kit. There are several small bags of screws/fasteners. The silver rectangle is the hard drive bracket. The final bag as the two hard drive cables in it.
Here's a pic of the two cables:
Following are pics of the connectors at each end of the cables:
Let me know if you'd like to see a pic from the manual that shows drawings of some of these parts. Hope this helps.

Thanks much, here is what they sent me as part of 731424-001. (Which didn't work). Can you tell if both ends that connect to the logic board (not the disk drive) look the same? I'll take this off your hands if you want to sell it. You can private email me with the details. You're awesome-thx.

Macboat,
I am pleased to report that your parts worked perfectly with the Power/IO Board I recently purchased. I had an extra 7MM 500 GB drive and it works fine but it's a bit oversize. Last night, I ordered a Seagate 5 MM 500GB drive on Amazon for about $75. ONce I get that one, I'll swap out the other drive and use it for back up. All in all, this was quite a journey but the upgrade can be done. Once I get the new drive, I'll update the group. There was so much confusion with the M vs G models that my head was starting to hurt!! Once again, thanks for all your help.

Here is the completed list for upgrading the G110dx from BestBuy. This does NOT apply to the "M" model. In order to add a hard disku you will need:
1- IO Powerboard with Hard Drive connector 736895-001 $58
1-Hard drive kit 736884-001 (see pix from Macboat's post) $49 (This kit includes cables for both standard SATA as will as Western Digital's new 5MM 500GB drive which no one carries except vendors in China. The equivalent 5MM 500 Seagate thin drive has the standard Sata connector is is around $78 on Amazon (I just ordered one). I installed a WD 500GB 7mm drive and while it does fit, it's a very tight fit and the case does not completely close when this is used but it does work and the G110DX works fine. Note: Parts prices do not include shipping from HP parts. Hope this helps everyone who wanted to add a hard disk.

seems no one can answer my question? I already have a 9.5 mm hybrid HDD for split x2 (M, not G)!
"I got the HDD kit for my new Hp split X2 13-(m110dx). My question is if i can upgrade a 9.5mm HDD I have instead of 7mm 2.5 HDD. Thanks for all responses!"

My experience with these devices is that a 7mm will barely fit, a 5MM definitely fit but a 9MM-no way, in my opinion since the keyboard chassis is physically the same size between the M and the G. Just my opinion.

Hi Trekker4935,
I'm glad everything worked out! Unfortunately for everyone, I made the mistaken assumption that, since the hard drive HP sells with the G model is the Western Digital HDD, then a hard drive with only the special edge connector could be installed. I apologize to anyone that I mistakenly misled. Thanks to Trekker4935, we all now know that the other 5mm HDD on the market (the Seagate one) can be used. I look forward to hearing how it fares.
