Hp g10 fd0290tu(i5 1334U processor) laptop,,,want to upgrade nvme ssd of it,,,,what is the maximum read and write speed supported by it,,,,and 2tb is supported by it or not

Is it an HP 15- fd0290tu  machine ?  Now it has 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD which is PCIe Gen 3. You can install PCIe Gen 4 drive but it still runs at PCIe Gen 3 speed, won't go faster.

 

Yes, you can use 2TB even 4TB
