Specifications : Intel i5 8265u , 8 gb ram, 1tb hdd, mx110.

Can I upgrade the laptop by adding a m.2 nvme ssd 2280  as my bootdrive . And does this model support Intel optane memory. Which is better optane or ssd for faster boot. And please provide a installation guide if possible . And which is more affordable and easier upgrade.

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive installed on the PC.

And your computer supports M.2 solid-state drive see the below storage information:
