Hello 

My laptop hp 15-da1003nx and I want to upgrade to ssd m.2, I am going to buy Samsung ssd m.2 980 nvme.

Is it going to fit and work with the motherboard?

Yes, the Samsung 980 will be fine.

 

980 SSD | Consumer SSD | Samsung Semiconductor

 

I would not buy the 980 Pro because it will not run at its full speed, since your notebook's M.2 slot is not a PCIe generation 4.
