I have a 17 inch hp laptop.

Model - 17bs011dx.

will it support 2tb m2 sata ssd on the m2 slot?

&

will it support 2 tb m4 nvme ssd on my m4 slot?

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!

 

Your HP Notebook - 17-bs011dx (2DQ77UA) as per: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05963248.pdf, has one SATA SSD/HDD slot, one M.2 NGFF SATA III 6Gb/s TLC NAND (2280) SSD slot, and you could swap your optical drive with an optical drive SATA adapter to add an additional storage drive (SATA SSD or HDD) for your laptop:

Btw, the M.2 drive your laptop requires is an M.2 NGFF SATA III :

This means that a modern M.2 NVMe SSD is not supported by your laptop.

 

I am not sure what you mean by "m4 slot".

This laptop has 2 hdd slots

1 sata hdd slot & 1 nvme ssd slot

 

1) I want to know that if i attach a 2 tb sata ssd in my sata hdd slot, will it support?

 

2) & if i attach a 2tb nvme ssd in my ssd slot, will it support my laptop?

Yes, your laptop will support a 2TB SATA SSD and a 2TB M.2 NGFF SATA III SSD.
