Hi!
I purchased this laptop last week in Spain and now I came back where I leave in Holland.
I just found out that the pc has some serious problems:
-the microphone makes some electric/static noises and makes impossible to understand the voice
-Static/Sparking Noise comes from near the ac adapter also without the cable attached
I followed every guide I found on HP website for win 10 audio problems:
-unistalled and reinstalled the realtek driver
-tried to update using driver from HP
-then I restored win 10 as suggested by HP guide
But nothing the microphone still doesn't work and the noises from the PC are intermittent.
My question is: can I give it back and get a complete refound as it passed less than a week?
Or can I have it repaired?
Most importantly is how should I do it? can I do it from here i the Netherland as the warranty is European?
Thank you in advance and Please help!

Thank you for your answer but my problem it is not solved yet and it has been a month already!
After they contacted me we arranged the repair. I got the PC back after a week and everything went smoothly until here, but the only problem is that the microphone it still not working properly!!!
The assured me that the hardware of the microphone had been replaced but recording a video or skype calling it's not possible because of the noises. So I contacted again the support and they think it could be a driver problem. They requested some log files and I'm still waiting for an answer!
I am sick and tired of not being able to properly use my new laptop!
I asked for a refund but they answered that it's not possible because 10 days after the purchased have passed and that frustrates me a lot as I signaled the problem within the first week.
What I expect now it's at least a proposal from your part to replace the all pc with a new one because I can not tolerate any more to loose my free time to fix something I payed for!!!!
Thank you in advice for your help to solve this once and for all!
Best regards,
Alex
