Hello, I have a HP OMen 15 and I bought the replacement SSD (HP Ex950 512GB), I currently have a 128Gb SSD
What are the steps to carefully replace the ssd and install OS?
How important is to use a anti static wrist or removing the battery before changing the ssd?
After the upgrade is done (since the OS is in the current SSD) I have no OS installed in the new SSD. I downloaded a bootable version of Windows 10 in a USB drive, so I was planning to boot from there and install the OS. From the moment I turn on the computer, what are the steps to configure the OS?
Thanks!

Please use the following guide
https://www.crucial.com/articles/about-ssd/how-to-install-m2-nvme-pcie-ssd
It has few different angles but in principle very the same.
Note: I always use an anti static wrist trap therefore it is highly recommended from me.
Regards.
