HP Envy x360 - HP aq292cl

I purchased a HP envy x360, model HP- aq292cl laptop last year. It currently has 128gb SSD. I wanted to upgrade to higher capacity. 1.Please let me know which is the best brand of SSD for this laptop. I saw few brands like Samsung, crucial, WD. W

2.When I look for these brands what are the things I should consider so it is compatible with my laptop.

3. What is the maximum SSD capacity I can upgrade for this laptop?

@KRR07,

Personally, I feel 500GB should be compatible. However, you can try this at your own discretion.

@KRR07,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I checked the specifications of your computer and see that the maximum tested SSD on your computer is 256GB and your computer supports PCIe, NVMe solid-state drive.

You can purchase any SSD brand of your choice. Please refer to the below service guide for your computer for more information.

Thank you for your response. I know the tested SSD is 256gb, Do you think it will be compatible with 500 Gb or 1TB?
