Hi,

Yes, it has a M2 slot with support with M2 SATA3 SSD and much faster M2 PCIe NVMe SSD such as the Samsung 970 Evo Plus or similar.

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-970-EVO-500GB-MZ-V7E500BW/dp/B07BN4NJ2J/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=960+evo+p...

On page 47 of service manual you can see the steps to install the drive.

You will need to install the OS on the SSD for performance gain.

Hope it helps,

David

Hi David

I have succesfully installed the ssd.  I migrated the OS via Acronis True Image OEM (supplied from the ADATA)

Everthing run smoothly, only the benchmark result seem not maximal.

For comparation please check this link:

Any help for what is wrong?

ps: I run the benchmark till 5 times and same result.

I check with crystaldisk info, found a clue that cause degraded speed.

Current transfer mode PCIe 1.0 x2 that probably cause the bottleneck.

Any information why cannot use PCIe 3.0 x4 ?  😞

Regards
