It sounds to me like your notebook's internal battery has begun swelling to a point where it is beginning to stress and damage the components of the notebook.
I recommend that you remove and replace the internal battery as soon as possible to prevent further stress/damage to the notebook.

Battery swelling normally happens as a result of leaving the battery in a constant 100% charge state.
Don't keep the notebook plugged into A/C power 24/7/365.
