I've recently installed the latest firmware version of the Intel Management Engine (SP90139). While the Intel ME version is reported as expected from HWiNFO (11.8.55.3510), the TPM reports a completely different version (302.12.0.0). It's rather weird since the previous updates reported the same version as the ME firmware. Is this intentional? Or is it a bug?

Thank you for replying,

I appreciate the clarifications!

As it helped me review all available updates, also I checked with my R&D team, they seem to have the same on their test/lab computers, the version of the TPM seems to have been changed/updated.

Hence, this is normal and is nothing to be worried about, if there are any changes that needs to be made a new patch will be released on the HP website.

I hope that answers your query.

If it did, select Accepted as Solution on this post, to help the community grow.

And have a good day ahead.

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

Riddle_Decipher, is at your service!

From the looks of it, you seem to have installed an incorrect version of the update on your device,

the correct version should be: 11.7.0.1057 : Click here to download it

Let me know how that pans out

I will have a colleague follow-up on this to ensure it's taken care off,

as I need to know if the issue has been resolved, to get proper sleep at night.

@Riddle_Decipher , uh... you gave me the link for the Intel ME driver when I was talking about the firmware update. And no, it didn't fix this.
