I've had 6 different laptops present problems with the USB-C ports on this model. Some of the issues are minor annoyances (Screens flashing occasionally when connected through a dock usually), but I've had 2 laptops that would not have power delivery through either USB-C Port (One of them less than a month old). I eventually had to have them sent back to HP under warranty to have them replace the MB. This is a huge issue for me and is causing massive downtime for my users (One of them being the CEO). Has anyone else run into this issue or seen something similar, no BIOs updates or settings changes fix this issue.

Yes, we have about 15 440 G10s that are all having this exact same issue, brand new out of the box. The only current fix is to unplug all devices, and hold the power button down for 30seconds, this resolves the issue for that time. However, it's happening daily, sometimes 2-3 times a day for some people. All of these laptops are connected to the HP G5 USB-C Dock via USB-C , at any point in time the USB-C Ports on the right side of the laptop will just stop working, wont charge the laptop, won't show external Display, Not even the USB-C Power Adapter that comes with the laptop will work, until the laptop has been "Power Cycled" by holding down the power button for 30 seconds.
We went through HP Elite Support they have replaced 2 motherboards, same issue. We have updated BIOS, Drivers, Changed Power Settings, nothing makes a difference, at some point all USB-C drives stop working and the laptop must be "Power Cycled" by holding the button down for 30 seconds.
We had EliteBook 1080 G8s prior to this and never had this issue, HP Support has told me multiple times that they have never heard of this issue and that it is not a known problem, however a quick google says very much otherwise.

Hi, just posting here to say we do have the exact same problem with some of our new Elite x360 G10. USB-C Ports randomly stop working, only the soft reset is helping.
I found out that at least on SOME devices like my own it was helpful to reset the BIOS settings to the factory default. We had some settings like Power Control deactivated and when I enabled them again, it fixed the problem on my device. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case for all devices. Seems to be a pretty random issue overall.
