I had some parts from my laptop replaced like keybored , motherbored and touchpad because of water got spilled on it .

after that on start up screen i get this message The following product information programmed into the system board is missing or invalid : product name , serial num , product num . 

also i can't identify my laptop on hp site anymore . 

 

I hope you guys can help me out

Thank you for your inquiry. I will do my best to lend a helping hand.  I understand that after an accidental spill you have had the keyboard, touchpad and motherboard replaced. Now you are getting this message" the following product information programmed into the system board is missing or invalid : product name , serial num , product num ". Also the HP website can not auto detect your model anymore.

 

The information that is missing, is usually tattooed in the BIOS. As the information is not there for HP to detect, it cannot identify your product.

HP Notebook PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number, Serial Number or Product Number? Please contact HP Support for assistance with reacquiring the information and assisting you with the inputs.Contact HP Support  Fill out the online form and follow the prompts. You would input Envy 15-j101ex as the model number and select "My Issue is not listed"  Please let me know the outcome.
