The screen is starting to come apart from the lid when I try to move the lid. It started when the lid was open and I tried to close it a bit. It makes a cracking noise. It's less than 2 years old. How can I get it to open and close without this happening?

Hello, thank you for your reply.
I needed the lap-top urgently, and, as I am staying on a small island at the moment, there was no chance of contacting an official HP staff, and the machine is out of guarantee. In the end, I took it to the local PC workshop and they quickly solved the problem in an unconventional way by putting two little bolts in, and it is now working fine, and the screen is no longer showing stress points when it's black during the boot-up process. I have seen others put screws/bolts in in videos on YouTube. The hinge is clearly is a really bad design fault because there are 25,000 views on one of the YouTube video on how to repair the hinge on an HP 360 machine!
Thank you for getting back to me,
Jess
