Hello @jamcha001,

Usually, the most common solution to this issue is a power reset:

  1. Remove the power adapter
  2. Unplug any accessories (USB media, etc.)
  3. Turn off the device
  4. Hold down the power button for at least 30 seconds
  5. Turn on the device
  6. Plug in the power adapter

If you want to check if it's a hardware issue, you can use the HP UEFI Diagnostics:

  1. Turn off the laptop
  2. Press the power button and repeatedly press the Esc button
  3. Select F2 (System Diagnostics)
  4. Select the desired language
  5. Navigate to component tests
  6. Select (I believe it was called) USB or Thunderbolt tests

Note that the above steps may vary depending on the configuration and some tests may not be available.

Kind regards,

Eddy
