This computer has whitelist ?

I want to know if my computer has whitelist on it because i planing doing some experiment with Egpu and thats why I need to know my wifi or ssd slot has whitelist for not accepting any device other then the stock ones

So looks like I accidently open the subjcect more then once. Mods can delete the other one , sorry about that

Absolutely it does not have a whitelist. HP did away with that about 5 years ago. And your model has dual antennae so will work with any wifi card of the correct form factor. Its an M.2 form factor card. 

SSDs never were subject to a whitelist although there are occasional compatibility issues. Whitelist means the device is locked out or blocked affirmatively by the BIOS and HP has never done that with SSDs but your selections may be somewhat restricted by the hardware.

M.2 SSD 2280 form factor SATA or PCIe/NVME are supported but as yours is 6th gen Intel Core some of the more recent models like Samsung 960/970 may not work. You also want to open the laptop and verify the presence of the M.2 slot before investing in an upgrade.

can you please confirm that as of now, for 14-ck1007tu? i keep seeing threads everywhere that ask for whitelist removed mods. Are they all for pc's from relatively long ago?
