OMEN by HP 15-dc1048nl

Hi everyone,

I’m having a critical issue with my HP 15-dc1048nl. The Thunderbolt 3 port doesn’t work when I connect my Razer eGPU, but it does work fine with a portable monitor. I can’t see the eGPU in the Thunderbolt Control Center, and the Thunderbolt controller isn’t listed in Device Manager either.

How is this possible? This laptop is supposed to have Thunderbolt 3, which makes me question the accuracy of the product description. If the Thunderbolt 3 port isn’t functioning correctly, it undermines the credibility of the entire product.

Has anyone experienced this issue or found a solution?

I’ve also tried contacting HP support via WhatsApp, but had no luck.

Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately it did not work.

The Razer needs 100 watts of Power Delivery, I actually don't know how many watts your laptop has, my laptop has 15 watts Thunderbolt 3

What? Where did you read that? That's for using it also to charge the laptop, it has nothing to do with functionality.
